Our performance schedule for 2012 will be a little different than it has been in recent years.  Instead of our big annual concert in January, we will be performing in March, when trees are blooming and birds are singing, and all is right with the world and ready for some beautiful Russian music.  Our 32nd annual concert will be at Pima College on Sat., March 24 at 7:00 pm.  Ticket details TBA.

But before even that, we will also have a less formal “gig” performance, outdoors at the new Slavic Heritage Festival on Sat., Feb. 11, at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church at Pima and Swan, time TBA as well.

The Arizona Balalaika Orchestra will be helping the local Orthodox community celebrate the newly completed construction of their new church, on 5th Street, on the south side of the street between Craycroft and Wilmot.  We will be playing a 45 minute gig of Russian music and song as part of their celebration festival.
